What do l pay ??


There is a pricelist on every page for each tour. If the tour you are joining has already 4 people booked on it, and you reserving the tour for 2 people, the price you pay (per person) is the one advertised next to 6 Pax, as after you have successfully join the tour there will be 6 people in the group.


If you are creating a new group with 2 people to start with, you will receive a confirmation showing the price for 2 people which is often quite high, but each time new group members join the tour you will receive a new confirmation with the price per person lowering depending on the new size of the group.



How do l pay and why have you asked for my credit card details ??


Payment is on the day to the driver in cash only Euro.


Credit Card details are taken to basically make sure everyone turns up on the day !! Cancellation within 10 days of the tour date or no show on the day is charged 100% to your credit card, hence keeping the cost down for the group members taking the tour. With this cancellation policy YOU on the day of the tour know the price per person and if 2 people do not show you have peace of mind that you will not have to pay more to cover their costs, as we charge their portion of the tour to their credit card.

If someone cancels up to 10 days before the tour we do not charge and the price does alter for the remaining group members.



Does everyone signing up to join a group do so with credit card details, or as Group Creator am l accountable for all ??


Everyone that joins a group does reserve their place with credit card details and as a Group Creator you are not reasonable for all in the group, only the people that are under your name.




Are the shared shore excursions flexible ??


No, the tour is not flexible, as 8 people in a minivan all wanting to see different things is chaos. Our groups are usually formed by people who know exactly what they wish to see and are looking to share their special day with likeminded cruisers. Time is short in the port and what is offered on the webpage is what we can visit in a day. If there is a major reason why we cannot visit one place then the group leader will be asked to make a decision after discussion with the group.







The tour itinerary shown above is conducted by an English speaking driver who has been trained to give a tour along the route. They will share their knowledge and passion for the area, stop for the best photo opportunities and point out the places of interest. Your driver is not allowed by Italian law to guide you around the historical areas, monuments and towns where you stop.

The tour itinerary for shore excursions is based on cruise ships arriving in at, or before 08:30 and sailing at, or after 6:30pm.

For ships that sail before 6:30pm please email us first info@aptours.it so we can work out the changes to the itinerary to fit your ships schedule before setting up the tour. We will then add the changes to the notes section for fellow cruisers to read before they join the group.

We always base the tour itinerary around the ships schedule with number one priority to get you back to the port 1.5 / 2 hours before sail time.

Cancellation Policy:
The tour is confirmed the moment you either create or join a group. Any tour cancelled within ten days of the service date will be considered a late cancellation. APTours reserves the right to debit a 'late cancellation fee' in this event. The 'late cancellation fee' will equal the total amount of previously confirmed services. If cancellation is requested by e-mail no less than ten days before the booked date there will be no charge. Once you have filled out a reservation form and inserted payment information you agree to enter a legally binding contract with APTours.

Important Info:
Once you have signed up for a tour or created a tour, your name, mobile number, email address will be shared with others in your group. As a new member joins your group you will receive an update of group size and cost. As the tour is shared we must fix an itinerary and keep to a set time schedule. We ask guests to be punctual to all meeting points set by the driver to help the day run smoothly.
