Tours are booked on a vehicle and day rate, the most appropriate vehicle size will be selected for each group size. Once your group tour is booked and confirmed by us you will have up to ten days before the date to alter your reservation and vehicle size. After this time any changes to booking are at the discretion of APTours.

 

10 days before the tour date the tour is closed, that means anyone wishing to cancel after this will pay 100%, this is to keep the costs (as advertised on this website) for the others in the group. We have decided on 10 days because after this most people are travelling and we cannot contact them to tell them about changes to the group.

 

The tour is closed 10 days prior to tour date, the tour will be shown on this website for 8 days prior to tour date so the group can see if anyone cancelled and the price per person has altered. Most groups do chat with each other before the cruise so it is rare that this happens.

 

Information for Group Creators: Once the tours are advertised on this website, they are confirmed, so if your group size does not reach the minimum people for the price you are willing to pay you must cancel the tour within 10 days of the tour date.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Any tour cancelled within ten days of the service date will be considered a late cancellation. APTours reserves the right to debit a 'late cancellation fee' in this event. The 'late cancellation fee' will equal the total amount of previously confirmed services.

If cancellation is requested by e-mail no less than ten days before the booked date there will be no charge.


Once you have filled out a reservation form and inserted payment information you agree to enter a legally binding contract with APTours.

As the tour is shared we must fix an itinerary and keep to a set time schedule. We ask guests to be puntutual to all meeting points set by the driver to help the day run smoothly.

 

Once you have signed up for a tour or created a tour, your name, mobile number, email address will be shared with others in your group. As a new member joins your group you will receive an update of group size and cost. All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destination/s, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.
Your professional English speaking driver will convey his knowledge and passion for the beautiful area of Italy you are touring during the day, and will be happy to suggest various restaurants for an authentic dining experience that suits the groups wishes.

 

 

 

 

 

The tour itinerary shown above is conducted by an English speaking driver who has been trained to give a tour along the route. They will share their knowledge and passion for the area, stop for the best photo opportunities and point out the places of interest. Your driver is not allowed by Italian law to guide you around the historical areas, monuments and towns where you stop.

The tour itinerary for shore excursions is based on cruise ships arriving in at, or before 08:30 and sailing at, or after 6:30pm.

For ships that sail before 6:30pm please email us first info@aptours.it so we can work out the changes to the itinerary to fit your ships schedule before setting up the tour. We will then add the changes to the notes section for fellow cruisers to read before they join the group.

We always base the tour itinerary around the ships schedule with number one priority to get you back to the port 1.5 / 2 hours before sail time.
